What I’m Fighting For

Democracy that gives voters real choice

Nothing else works if our democracy is broken. In too many places, elections are decided before voters ever get a real say, and too many people are shut out of the process. I’m running as an Independent because government belongs to voters, not parties or big money. It should be shaped by the people it serves, with real choices and real accountability.

I support:

Accountability and responsible national security

National security is not a game. Our nation’s defense must be rooted in the rule of law and accountability, not unchecked power. That same standard applies at home. National security cannot be used to justify stoking fear in our communities or enforcement practices that treat neighbors like targets. When that happens, trust is broken and communities are made less safe, not more. We must end immigration systems built on fear and invest in one grounded in dignity, due process, and true community safety.

As a veteran and advocate, I’ve seen the cost of war. We must stop sending our friends and our children into conflict and start investing here at home in affordable healthcare, a living wage, and the ability to build a stable life.

I support:

Protecting civil and human rights

Freedom means dignity, safety, and equal protection under the law. Everyone should be able to live openly and safely, with real opportunity, without fear of discrimination or harm. Americans are done living in fear. Our laws must protect people equally and end the criminalization of people for who they are and the lives they are trying to build. We must fight back against efforts to restrict access to care, limit who can exist safely in public spaces, and deny equitable investment in our communities.

I support:

Healthcare people can count on

Healthcare should be a guarantee, not a privilege. Too many people are forced to delay care, ration medication, or go into debt just to stay healthy. That is not a functioning system. We need a healthcare system that works for people, not insurance companies, and that treats care as a basic right, not something you earn.

I support:

An economy that supports stability and opportunity

People should be able to build a stable life. Right now, too many families are working hard and still struggling to afford the basics. Wages are not keeping up with costs, and the systems meant to provide stability have been weakened. We need an economy that works for the people who power it, not just the people at the top.
